Parser hang via oversized line-number overflow

Integer overflow in Go standard library go/scanner before 1.19.8 and 1.20.0-0 through 1.20.2 allows attackers to hang parsers. Scanner.updateLineInfo accepts an oversized decimal line number from a //line directive and permits integer wraparound, leaving parsing in a nonterminating loop. Reachability requires an application to pass attacker-controlled Go source text to a Parse function, and the resulting service impact is confined to a parser hang.
