Administrator command execution via ConfigureOutsideDiscovery request
Published Feb 14, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
OS command injection in SAP Host Agent 7.21 and 7.22 allows local users to execute commands with administrator privileges. The ConfigureOutsideDiscovery request accepts an operating system command and passes it to the privileged Start Service for execution without blocking command input. A non-admin account and local access to the assigned server port are required; successful exploitation permits reading or modifying any data and interrupting the host.
