Local file disclosure via unchecked URL scheme
Published Aug 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
SSRF in the Pandora FMS API checker through 767 allows remote authenticated users to read local files through a crafted URL. The Web Console accepts file-scheme URLs instead of restricting requests to HTTP or HTTPS, then returns referenced server-side file content in the checker response. Administrative access to the API checker and interaction with the crafted URL are required; the demonstrated consequence is disclosure of files readable by the Web Console process.
