CVE-2023-24441Network attack vector

Agent secret disclosure via unsafe XML parsing

Published Jan 24, 2023 · Updated Apr 2, 2025

XXE in Jenkins MSTest Plugin 1.0.0 and earlier allows attackers to read agent secrets or trigger SSRF through crafted report files. The Publish MSTest test result report step invokes an XML parser without disabling external-entity resolution. Exploitation requires control of report XML without broader control of build steps, Jenkinsfiles, or test code executed on the agent.
