Credential-ID disclosure via unchecked dropdown endpoint
Published Jan 24, 2023 · Updated Apr 2, 2025
Missing authorization in Jenkins GitHub Pull Request Builder Plugin 1.42.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate credential IDs. GhprbGitHubAuth.doFillCredentialsIdItems queries credentials as the system identity without checking the requester's permission. Overall/Read permission is sufficient; the response discloses identifiers rather than secret values, but the identifiers can support a separate credential-capture flaw.
