Published May 8, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Ecwid Ecommerce Shopping Cart 6.11.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to run script via shortcode attributes. The plugin insufficiently sanitizes user-supplied shortcode attributes and fails to escape them when rendering stored content. Contributor-level access and a later page view are required; successful exploitation runs script in the viewer's browser and can read or alter browser-accessible data.
