Authenticated file read via unchecked template path
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Local file inclusion in PluginOps Landing Page Builder 3.1.9.9 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to read server files. The select_template.php renderer appends the lpp_template_select post-meta value to its template directory and passes the resulting path to PHP include without canonicalization or an allowlist. Editor-level access is required to set the template value; included files are disclosed, while code execution additionally requires readable attacker-controlled PHP content.
