CVE-2023-24348Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Authenticated code execution via unbounded curTime copy

Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025

Stack-based buffer overflow in D-Link DIR-605L firmware 2.13B01 allows remote authenticated users to execute code via crafted HTTP requests. The boa web server passes the arbitrarily long curTime value from /goform/formSetACLFilter to sprintf, which copies it into a stack buffer without a length bound. Access to the router's web interface and valid credentials are required; successful exploitation can execute code or interrupt the web service.
