CVE-2023-24330Public exploit

Unauthenticated command execution via HNAP IPAddress injection

Published Feb 21, 2024 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

Command injection in D-Link DIR-882 Firmware DIR882A1_FW130B06 allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary commands via HNAP. The SetNetworkSettings handler passes the IPAddress element through sprintf into a command string that system() executes without neutralization. The HNAP service must be reachable from an adjacent network; no credentials or user interaction are required, and commands run on the router.
