Stored script execution via unescaped className output
Published Jul 18, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
Stored XSS in YARPP 5.30.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts through the className parameter. The rendering path in classes/YARPP_Core.php places the attacker-controlled className value into page output without sufficient sanitization or escaping. Contributor-level access is sufficient, and the stored script executes in a visitor's browser when the injected page is opened.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
