Stored XSS via unescaped page title
Published Feb 10, 2023 · Updated Mar 24, 2025
Stored XSS in getformwork Formwork before 1.13.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute web scripts through a crafted page title. The panel/views/pages/editor.php template renders Page::title() without HTML escaping, causing saved markup to enter the panel page. Page-editing permission is required, and the payload runs when another user opens the affected panel view, enabling limited data access or modification in that browser context.
