Authenticated script execution via department Name field
Published Apr 29, 2023 · Updated Jan 14, 2025
Cross-site scripting in Control iD RHiD 23.3.19.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute script through a department Name value. The department-creation route at /v2/#/add/department places the attacker-controlled Name field into web content without sufficient neutralization. Successful exploitation requires a victim to view the affected content and permits script execution in that victim's RHiD browser context.
