CVE-2023-24188Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Unauthenticated file deletion via path concatenation

Published Feb 13, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Path traversal in UReport2 2.2.9 and earlier allows remote attackers to delete arbitrary server files through the report deletion interface. The com.bstek.ureport.provider.report.file.deleteReport method concatenates an attacker-controlled report name into a filesystem path without containment validation. The interface has no access control; deletion is limited to files writable by the server process and permits service interruption or data destruction.
