Scheduler denial of service via nonce-free logout
Published Jun 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in vcita's Online Booking & Scheduling Calendar for WordPress 4.5 and earlier allows remote attackers to interrupt scheduling. The vcita_logout_callback function accepts a forged vcita_logout AJAX request without verifying a nonce and disconnects the linked vcita account. Exploitation requires a logged-in site user to submit the request, after which appointment scheduling remains unavailable while the account is disconnected.
