Authenticated router crash via oversized WEP key
Published Mar 1, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026
Stack overflow in Jensen of Scandinavia Eagle 1200AC 15.03.06.33_en allows remote authenticated users to crash the router. The /goform/WifiBasicSet handler processes an oversized wepkey4 value without sufficient bounds checking, causing a write beyond its stack buffer. Access to the authenticated Wi-Fi configuration interface is required; exploitation interrupts availability without reported data disclosure or modification.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
