Stored cross-site scripting via nonce-free settings callback
Published Jun 3, 2023 · Updated Apr 8, 2026
CSRF in vcita WordPress plugins 1.3.1 and earlier and 3.10.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to store JavaScript via a forged request. The ls_parse_vcita_callback() function accepts callback fields without verifying a nonce, stores them in plugin settings, and later renders the email value without sanitization. Exploitation requires an administrator to open the crafted link; the stored script runs when the connected plugin settings page loads.
