CVE-2023-24058Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Cross-user reservation creation via trusted userId

Published Jan 22, 2023 · Updated Apr 2, 2025

Improper access control in Booked Scheduler 2.5.5 allows remote authenticated users to create reservations as any other user. ReservationSavePage::GetUserId trusts the userId form field, and reservation_save.php accepts that caller-controlled identity without binding it to the authenticated session. Any authenticated account can therefore assign stored scheduling records to arbitrary users; the Sep 6, 2022 LabArchives Scheduler feature release is also affected.
