CVE-2023-24046Public exploit

Authenticated command execution via unsanitized ping target

Published Dec 4, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024

OS command injection in Connectize AC21000 G6 firmware 641.139.1.1256 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. The getPingResult.asp endpoint passes the ping target_addr value to a system command without rejecting shell metacharacters. Access to the adjacent-network admin panel is required, and exploitation returns command output and grants control of the router.
