Incorrect authorization in Progress WS_FTP Server before 8.8 allows remote authenticated users to elevate host privileges. The administrative interface applies insufficient authorization controls when a host administrator modifies users, permitting privileges beyond the account's intended authority. A valid host-administrator session is required, and Progress has not published the affected request parameters or precise elevated role.
