Uncontrolled search path handling in Intel Quartus Prime Pro before 22.4 and Standard before 22.1std allows local users to escalate privileges. Intel identifies an uncontrolled search-path element but has not disclosed the executable, library, environment variable, or lookup order that accepts an attacker-controlled path. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, user interaction, and additional conditions; successful hijacking runs attacker-controlled code with elevated privileges.
