Stored XSS via unsanitized field names
Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in Simple Mobile Comparison Website 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to inject script through a field name. The save_field action in classes/Master.php stores the multipart name value without neutralization, and the admin field list renders it as executable markup. Administrator access is required to create the field, while execution requires a user to visit the field list and runs the script in that user's browser context.
