Payment data tampering via unverified checkout details
Published Feb 3, 2023 · Updated Mar 10, 2025

Shopware has not published the faulty code locus; affected JavaScript checkout methods can send PayPal an amount or item list that differs from the created order. Exposure requires PayPal Plus, Smart Payment Buttons, SEPA, Pay Later, Venmo, or credit-card checkout, and the consequence is payment-data integrity loss.
