Command injection in Ubiquiti EdgeRouters 2.0.9-hotfix.5 and earlier and USG 4.4.56 and earlier allows attackers to execute root code via the WAN. The dhcp6c daemon passes an inadequately validated attacker-supplied string to a system call, enabling command injection. Exploitation requires stateful or stateless DHCPv6 prefix delegation and direct WAN connectivity; injected code runs with root privileges.
