WebUI traffic interception via improper certificate validation
Published May 10, 2023 · Updated Jan 28, 2025
Improper certificate validation in SkyBridge MB-A200 and BASIC MB-A130 firmware allows remote attackers to intercept WebUI traffic. The firmware improperly follows a certificate's chain of trust when establishing WebUI communications, allowing an untrusted endpoint to be accepted. An unauthenticated attacker with a network path to the WebUI can eavesdrop on requests and responses or alter them in transit.
