Stored XSS via unsanitized shortcode attributes
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Stored XSS in Fullworks Quick PayPal Payments 5.7.25 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts via shortcodes. The plugin accepts user-supplied shortcode attributes without sufficient input sanitization or output escaping, then stores them in page content rendered to visitors. Contributor-level access is required to inject the payload, and the script runs when a user visits the affected page, enabling actions in that visitor's browser context.
