Contributor-level local PHP file inclusion via schema type
Published May 17, 2024 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
Path traversal in Rank Math SEO 1.0.107.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to include local PHP files through crafted schema data. The rich_snippet path builds an include path from the schema @type value and passes it to PHP include without first constraining traversal sequences. Contributor access is required to write crafted schema data and preview a post; inclusion is limited to PHP files already present on the server.
