Unauthenticated data access and disruption via naming API
Published Mar 14, 2023 · Updated Feb 27, 2025
Improper authentication in SAP NetWeaver AS for Java 7.50 allows remote attackers to read and modify sensitive data or interrupt service. The open interface accepts unauthenticated attachment and exposes a naming and directory API whose services perform unauthorized operations. Network access to that interface is sufficient, and successful use can affect users and services across systems or make system elements unresponsive.
