Credential theft via unchecked connection-validation endpoints

Missing authorization in Synopsys Coverity for Jenkins 3.0.2 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to capture Jenkins credentials. Several HTTP endpoints accept an attacker-chosen server URL and credentials ID, then authenticate an outbound request without checking the caller’s permission to use that credential. Overall/Read access and a credential ID obtained by another method are required; successful exploitation discloses the stored username and password to the remote server.
