Authenticated folder enumeration via path traversal
Published Apr 25, 2023 · Updated Feb 4, 2025
Path traversal in SolarWinds Database Performance Analyzer 2022.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to enumerate server folders. SolarWinds has not disclosed the affected request handler or the pathname-validation error that permits traversal beyond an intended directory. An authenticated DPA account and network access to the web interface are required; the documented consequence is disclosure of folder names.
