Authenticated SSRF via unsafe csv_table URL fetch
Published Nov 13, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
SSRF in Shortcodes Ultimate 5.12.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to make the WordPress server fetch arbitrary URLs. The su_shortcode_csv_table function passes the shortcode's user-controlled URL attribute to wp_remote_get instead of wp_safe_remote_get. The unsafe-features option must remain enabled, and Contributor-level access is sufficient; successful requests can expose internal service responses.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
