Spreadsheet command execution via unneutralized CSV formulas
Published Nov 7, 2023 · Updated Apr 28, 2026
CSV formula injection in Muneeb Form Builder | Create Responsive Contact Forms 1.9.9.0 and earlier allows remote attackers to plant formulas. Public sources do not identify the export function or field path; they state only that crafted formulas are not neutralized in generated CSV data. Exploitation requires an unauthenticated submission followed by a privileged user opening the exported file in spreadsheet software, enabling commands to run on that user’s computer.
