Stack-based buffer overflow in Fortinet FortiWeb allows remote authenticated users to escalate privileges via crafted HTTP requests. Fortinet has not identified the affected HTTP handler or disclosed the operation that writes beyond its stack buffer. Affected releases are 6.3.6 through 6.3.19, 6.4.0 through 6.4.2, and 7.0.0 through 7.0.1; low-privileged access is required, and exploitation grants elevated appliance privileges.
