OS command injection in the Fortinet FortiWeb GUI allows remote authenticated users to execute commands via crafted HTTP requests. Fortinet states that crafted HTTP request parameters reach OS command execution in the GUI, but has not disclosed the affected endpoints, parameter names, or command-building operation. An authenticated GUI account and adjacent-network access are required; successful exploitation runs unauthorized commands on affected 6.3.6 through 6.3.19, 6.4.0 through 6.4.2, and 7.0.0 through 7.0.1 appliances.
