CVE-2023-2377Network attack vector

Authenticated command execution via crafted name argument

Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Jul 9, 2026

Command injection in Ubiquiti EdgeRouter X 2.0.9-hotfix.0 through 2.0.9-hotfix.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute commands. An undisclosed web-management function passes the attacker-controlled name argument to command processing without neutralizing command syntax. Reaching the flaw requires an authenticated management session; the public record reports command execution, but Ubiquiti disputes treating post-authentication issues as vulnerabilities.
