Path traversal in GitHub Enterprise Server 3.4.0 through 3.7.6 allows remote authenticated users to execute code during a Pages build. GitHub has not disclosed which GitHub Pages build component mishandles a crafted pathname or how traversal reaches code execution. Exploitation requires permission to create and build a GitHub Pages site, and successful exploitation runs attacker-controlled code on the server.
