Stored XSS via unsanitized event names
Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Stored XSS in SourceCodester Online DJ Management System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in users' browsers. The save_event action in classes/Master.php stores the multipart name parameter without neutralizing script markup, and the event list renders the value as executable page content. Administrative access is required to save the payload, and a user must later open the event list; execution is confined to that viewer's browser context.
