Authenticated SQL injection via crafted class ID
Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Faculty Evaluation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to read database data via a crafted class ID. The delete_class action accepts the POST id parameter as SQL syntax, and an error-based updatexml payload exposes the current database name. A valid PHP session is required, and the public demonstration confirms database-name disclosure rather than broader server compromise.
