Authenticated SQL injection via crafted subject ID
Published Apr 28, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
SQL injection in SourceCodester Faculty Evaluation System 1.0 allows remote authenticated users to query its database via a crafted subject ID. The delete_subject action in ajax.php processes the POST id parameter without neutralizing SQL syntax, enabling error-based updatexml payloads. An authenticated PHP session is required, and the public proof of concept demonstrates database-name disclosure through an error response.
