Information exposure in Siemens SIMATIC IPC devices allows local users to decrypt intercepted maxView management traffic. The bundled Adaptec maxView application reuses one hard-coded TLS certificate and private key across installations for HTTPS between the local browser and service. Access to local traffic and the shared key enables reading or modifying data in transit; E models are affected on Windows before 4.09.00.25611, while all listed D models and IPC1047 versions are affected.
