Authenticated item disclosure via REST response discrepancy
Published Dec 18, 2023 · Updated Aug 2, 2024
Observable response discrepancy in Gallagher Command Centre RESTAPI allows remote authenticated users to infer hidden item existence. The RESTAPI returns observably different responses when a low-privilege request names an existing but unauthorized item versus a nonexistent item. A valid REST API key with insufficient item privileges is required, and the result reveals only whether otherwise hidden items exist.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
