CVE-2023-23574Network attack vector

Authenticated arbitrary SQL execution via alerts_count

Published Aug 9, 2023 · Updated Sep 20, 2024

Blind SQL injection in Nozomi Networks Guardian and CMC before 22.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. The alerts_count component passes improperly validated input into statements executed by the web application's DBMS, enabling blind manipulation of SQL execution. Access to the web management interface and a valid account are required; exploitation reads or alters database data or interrupts availability.
