Authenticated command execution via PDF merge parameters
Published Aug 22, 2023 · Updated Oct 3, 2024
Command injection in Geomatika IsiGeo Web 6.0 allows remote authenticated users to execute operating-system commands through a web request. The /v6/lib/xhr_impconf.php endpoint places attacker-controlled input and output POST values into a system command, allowing shell metacharacters to append commands. A standard application account is sufficient, and successful exploitation runs the supplied commands on the server.
