Improper input validation in Checkmk before 2.2.0p15 allows remote authenticated users to disrupt parts of the web UI. Host creation accepts names longer than filesystem limits and embeds each hostname in file paths, causing path-length errors that render GUI functions unusable. Administrative privileges are required; affected branches are 2.0.0 through 2.0.0p39, before 2.1.0p37, and before 2.2.0p15.
