Improper certificate validation in Milesight UR32L 32.3.0.5 allows man-in-the-middle attackers to gain increased privileges. The urvpn_client TLS setup creates an OpenSSL client context without enabling peer-certificate verification or accepting a trusted server certificate. Exploitation requires interception of the router's MilesightVPN connection and user interaction; Talos reports increased privileges but does not identify the resulting role or actions.
