Improper access control in Windows Installer in Apple macOS allows local users to bypass Privacy preferences through a malicious app. Apple identifies improved memory handling in Windows Installer but has not disclosed the faulty operation performed on attacker-controlled data. Exploitation requires a user to run the app; the bounded consequence is modification of privacy access controls, not direct data disclosure or code execution.
