Authenticated SQL injection via unescaped survey identifiers
Published Jan 20, 2023 · Updated Apr 3, 2025
SQL injection in AYS Pro Plugins Survey Maker before 3.1.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute attacker-controlled SQL. The ays_surveys_export_json action inserts the unescaped surveys_ids parameter into an SQL statement rather than quoting or validating it. A subscriber-level WordPress session is sufficient, and the published proof of concept executes an attacker-chosen database delay through the administrative AJAX endpoint.
