CVE-2023-23482Network attack vector

User-action hijacking via missing frame restrictions

Published Jun 8, 2023 · Updated Jan 6, 2025

Clickjacking in IBM Sterling Partner Engagement Manager 6.1, 6.2, and 6.2.1 allows remote attackers to hijack a victim's clicks. Affected web responses omit the X-Frame-Options header, allowing the interface to be framed by an attacker-controlled site. Exploitation requires low privileges and a victim to visit that site; attacker-directed clicks can trigger actions in the victim's session.
