Authenticated data access via incomplete API authorization
Published Aug 2, 2023 · Updated Oct 11, 2024
Incorrect authorization in IBM Robotic Process Automation 21.0.0 through 21.0.7.latest allows remote authenticated users to read data. Affected API routes incompletely validate custom-role permissions, permitting Users or Counters access without linked Team or Project privileges. Exploitation requires a crafted custom role and exposes data only; no data modification or service interruption is reported.
