CVE-2023-23447Network attack vector

Web-server interruption via unbounded open-file requests

Published May 15, 2023 · Updated Jun 1, 2026

Uncontrolled resource consumption in SICK FTMg firmware before 3.0.0.131.Release allows remote attackers to interrupt its web server. The REST interface accepts repeated open-file requests without adequately limiting the resources they consume. No authentication or user interaction is required, and the documented consequence is loss of web-server availability rather than sensor-wide shutdown.
