Improper signature verification in HONOR 50 firmware 7.0.0.138 through 7.0.0.156 allows local users to replace system files with forgeries. HONOR has not disclosed the affected signature-validation component or how the component accepts a forged file. Local access is required, and exploitation replaces trusted system-file content and can interrupt normal device operation.
